Studying this week’s module might have been the most fun I’ve had in school, ever!
This weeks learning has been inspiring to me. I’ve spent years daydreaming about making and selling princess dresses and finally decided it was impossible. I always got hung up on the amount of time and money it would take me to sew all those dresses and stock monofins for the tails. I’ve looked into buying fabric wholesale but have never looked at getting the dresses and tails wholesale. I felt like a child at Christmas as I researched manufacturers, brokers, wholesalers, drop shipping, and affiliates. I realized that I actually could start the business I’ve dreamed about. I found beautiful dresses and mermaid tails on both wholesale and drop shipping sites and I’ve learned about the pros and cons of each of the business models.
Interestingly I spent today at the Kenedy Space Center, that complex and all that was accomplished there is a testament to what we can do when we take impossible out of our vocabularies. While I learned a lot of practical things about sourcing produce this week the most important thing I learned is that I can accomplish more than I think I can.
