This has been a fun week. I learned how to optimize my site for search engines and a little more about google analytics.

In the first half of the week, I ran an analysis on Woorank that ranked my site and gave me suggestions on how to improve it. I learned that adding keywords to the headlines and alt text of pictures can improve my chances of having search engines find me. Woorank also gave me other ideas on how to improve my site.

During the second half of the week, I got to play with a dummy account on google analytics. This was one of my favorite assignments because it was like a treasure hunt. Some of the information was tricky to find and I got to click around and explore until I thought I had the correct answers. I then got to strengthen my skills in teamwork by working with my group to find the correct answers.
