This week, I learned about perseverance, the importance of planning, and how to break down a big project into small steps. I began this week feeling overwhelmed with the task of building a website. I read the first article on design and was inspired by the beautiful designs and then frustrated with my lack of skill. After I calmed down I prayed for help and felt impressed to sketch out what I wanted my pages to look like and write a list of tasks next to my sketches. I hoped that this would break up the project and help me to focus on one little thing at a time. Taking the time to plan and prepare is really helping me build my site. At the beginning of the week, I thought that there wasn’t any way I could finish and now I have a rough website with 3 of my four pages mostly together.
